Textbooks can be a pain. They’re heavy, boring to read, and cost a pretty penny. Having a lot of textbooks can take up a lot of space, too. That’s why I’m so excited about the future of the Open Source Abnormal Psychology textbook! This book started as a project by students at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to create an open source psychology textbook to help students all over the world have access to affordable abnormal psychology textbooks. Take a look, and tell me you don’t agree that this is going to change the face of psychology textbooks.
Learning Abnormal Psychology can be challenging. It’s a complex field and it is difficult to find the information in a format that is easy to read and quick to digest. I’m not sure what you will like about this book, but if you like something in it and want to share, feel free to share it. I think this text will improve when people suggest changes; therefore, please comment on it and ask me for more information if you need help with the material. I welcome any feedback or suggestions you deem appropriate.
