A Template Kit is a collection of pre-designed templates for Elementor that share a cohesive visual style. It is not a WordPress theme. The templates found in a template kit are collections of well-designed Elementor pages.
The template kits contain clean and lightweight pages that you can make use of to build a stunning website with no extra code added. This is a very important feature of the Elementor page builder and every template kit was made with improving compatibility and extendability and also ensuring that the pages built created with the templates load fast and show high performance in terms of page speed.
Template kits require the Elementor Page Builder plugin and an Elementor-friendly theme such as Hello Elementor to be installed and activated before being imported.
How to Install Elementor Template Kits using the Template Kit Import plugin (Step by Step)
Login to your WordPress Dashboard and visit the plugin install screen.
Click on Install the plugin from Plugins > Add New the in the search box search for Template Kit Import.
Click install now and activate the plugin.

As soon as you activate the plugin, go to Tools > Template Kit
Click on Upload Template Kit ZIP file to browse to your zip file and import your downloaded Elementor template kits.
Your Template Kit preview will appear and an orange banner will also appear if your kit requires additional free plugins.
Click Install Requirements and it will show you a popup containing all the required plugins.
A popup will appear listing the plugins your kit needs to be installed or activated. Click on the Install Above selected Requirements to proceed.
After successful installation of all requirements or required plugin, you can now click on
Now you may begin importing your templates by clicking the Import Template button on the desired template or page you wish to import.
On Successful import, you will see a view template button and import again button.
- Please endeavor to avoid clicking too many templates at once. Your browser can handle only a limited number, about 3 to 4 at a time.
- Always import the Global Kit Styles first, followed by any other Global templates for best results.
How to use Elementor Template Kits
All the templates you imported with the Template Kit import plugin will be available in your Elementor Template library and can also be accessed inside the builder, as well, this is to make it very easy for you to work with the templates and also create new layouts.
Secondly, you will not struggle with deleting pages you don’t need, as the case may be when you install theme demos on your website. To use the template do the following:
STEP 1: Go to pages and click on Add New
STEP 2: Enter the title of your page, and click edit with Elementor
STEP 3: After opening the Elementor Builder, now you will click on the Envato button as shown below:
A popup will appear and it will show all the Installed kits available on your site. Click View Installed Kit to show the templates under that kit.
Finally, click on insert template to insert the template into your page. Now wait for the template to imprt successfully
Global templates are a feature of Elementor Pro and will appear on several pages at once, or under special conditions. A common example of a global template in the menu header, which appears on all pages of your site if your kit includes one. Global templates only need to be edited in one place for the changes to take effect everywhere the template appears.
